So I'm sitting here with my hand on the mouse and all of a sudden some muscles near my index finger start to twitch causing my index finger to move/twitch on its own. It happens for about 1-2 minutes before it stopped, is this normal?

In short, yes, muscle twitching is normal.

Can you have that on any part of your body? :D

Yeah, any muscle can twitch like that. There is no muscle in the place you're thinking though. There is muscle near there.

My butt muscles used to twitch like that while laying in bed after football practice.

Pretty much...

A muscle near my eyebrow goes nuts, sometimes.

In my side, too.

I got one in my tri the other day while on ATOT... it was really annoying because it was strong enough to be noticable from a distance. :p

Yeah, it sometimes happens in a muscle in the corner of either of my eyes, or in a little muscle just above my left knee.

Some years it never happens, some years more often.

I will tell you young padawan. Basically, blood rushes into the area and it "grows".

My one 23yo female friend imparted to me that she thought it was a muscle, I nearly died from my laughter.

Man, and it took like lots of effort (internet printouts and such) to convince her about the blood thing, she just had a hard time accepting it ( ;) ).
