Murderous PS2 Port killing MS Keyboards?

I have a strange problem. I'm using the Abit KT7E motherboard and had been using the Microsoft Natural PS2 keyboards. My original Natural was about 4 years old when it died. It started typing jibberish (like the key hit outputs letters not supposed to). I replaced it with a new MS Natural keyboard. About a month later, the same problem arose. I has just placed it with a Logitech USB keyboard. The problem is definitely with the keyboard hardware because I test the keyboard on my notebook and it still outputs jibberish. I highly doubt the odds of 2 bad MS Keyboards with such coincidence. The USB Logitech keyboard seems to be working well, but the problem just arises all of a sudden and remains. Anybody have this problem or know anything about it?...maybe I have a bad PS2 Port outputting too much voltage and killing the keyboard or something...open to ideas.
