Murder in exended family

A 2 year old boy... by his uncle.

Earlier today my sister got a call from her husband's half-sister saying that her 2 year old son was dead. (to help clarify, my brother in-laws half sister called..)

Her brother was babysitting.. when she go home they couldn't wake the child up. He said the child fell down the stairs.

The child was bruised head to toe. Ripped tissue on the childs stomach supposably indicated that the child was punched in the stomach over and over again.

She wants to believe her brother.. From my understand he's setting in jail right now.

I don't know how old the brother is nor have I ever met any of my brother in-laws half siblings.

I hope he doesn't get away with this. It appears that he's denying it. Well, if he didn't do it that would mean the bruises all over the childs body was their before he babysat.. And he would be accountable for not reporting abuse.

I still don't have the whole story. I wish there was a way to beat the life out of somebody from 1,200 miles away.

Condense it down to sister's husband's half-brother, because he said it was her (the mother's) brother.

Sorry for your their loss. Hopefully they are able to conclusively determine what happened.

This thread *could* be quoted in court... but I highly doubt the suspect is going to ever stumble across it.
 
The attempts at humor in this thread are pretty out of place.

Horrible thing to happen. If he did it they should put him down. Seriously there is no hope for people that do this sort of thing.

Some people are really messed up. Look at the genocides in history, or the serial killers and those who shoot up a school full of kids. Look at all the millions of babies aborted and murdered each year in this country alone 🙁
