That is totally messed-up. I hope the DA begins an investigation into omeaga, or whatever they call themselves. If it's true this was a hoax to get page clicks, it was probably internal, and those fuckers should be shut down.

Aside from the general astronomical likelihood of this being BS, the "stabbed 17 times" strikes me oddly. Medical examiners count. I wasn't aware psychotic murderers often did.

I would think this would depend on their level of craziness. I have a particular distaste for odd numbers, so in the event I did stab someone, I would have to count, as an even number of stabs would be required, otherwise, I'd have to show up to the funeral and complete my work. =(

I don't know if this is an exact replica of the original but posting lon/lat and claiming a body will be found there is something that's floated around 4chan for the better part of a decade. I think there was an 'original' one once which actually had some photoshops/media to accompany it but whether it actually led to anything is anyone's guess.

No shit! If your using Firefox or Pale Moon there is an add-on called greasemonkey and you can go to userscripts.org and maybe there is a script there that will make the site less BS looking.

I remember a few occurrences where and OP posted some kind of criminal activity, and the users were able to verify it and then send authorities to their house. I can't recall if it was as bad as murder. There was also a fairly famous thread where a guy was in France and inquired about how to smuggle a skull from the Catacombs of Paris back to the US. Let's just say the thread escalated to the point of the OP posting a picture of his dick in the eye socket of said skull.
