Murder by Numbers

Anyone seen this movie? It's okay, but why do they call it Murder by Numbers??

Although I haven't seen it, I gather from reviews that the murderer(s) set it up to be unsolvable, kind of like a paint by number approach to murder...

Or something like that.

But I could be wrong.

I don't know why they called it that either. It woulda been a damn cool flick,too, if it weren't for the Sandra Bullock factor... :disgust:

They called it that because the guys that commit the murder in the movie do it "by the book" or "by the numbers" according to how murders are investigated as far as investigation and forensic clues go (or at least that's how they wanted it to appear to the investigators).
