Munu Bar Items (Figured It Out)

OK, Here's the deal. When I open a word document I do not have the File option in the upper menu bar. Only seems to happen in Word. Can't seem to figure out how to add it. Any ideas are welcome.

By the way, I am using MS Office 2000 Small Business Edition on a Laptop if that makes any difference.
