Anyone who was alive and old enough to remember this, apprently from what I have read, it was one of the the major, first terrorist events. What was the feeling as it was happening? During the conflict, and the end result? As well what was the publics feel towards Palestine after this?

I'd say the first to get major press coverage would be a better description, but I was born in 1982, so what do I know

I was around. Pretty disturbing event. In retrospect, I'm surprised there was such a relative lull between that event and what we are seeing today.
