It isn't a mundane matter.

I'm not onboard for weed legalization and it's was probably the first moving force for getting my butt to even vote this year.

Because you enjoy the "War on Drugs" and believe it an effective strategy?

I voted Yes on all, but Question 3 I was hesitant and maybe even a little regret. IMO, it could put smaller stores at risk of losing business.

No on 3 from me and yes on the rest. Beer and wine at Wegman’s self checkout is great. Rules seem fine as they are to me.

I don’t know how someone can look at all the evidence showing how poorly the WoD is performing and think it’s a winning strategy. Unless of course they’re all about those feels and likely in law enforcement

Being in Wisconsin it looks like it will go fully Republican. We had a nice older couple knock on our door last night, asking if we could put a Ron Johnson sign in our yard. I had them scurrying to their car about 2 minutes after they introduced themselves, with me telling them they should be ashamed of themselves on their way out. I wanted to tell them to fuck off with a shotgun cradled across my arm, but I was caught unaware.

That's how it's worked in every state where I've done it. I didn't even realize there were states where it was excluded from self check-out.

I voted yes across the board. I was a bit torn on Q3 - some good things, some meh things. A little suspicious that package stores were for it and other retailers against - makes me think Package Stores are trying to take some of the heat off themselves and stave a legislative change allowing more retailers to sell beer and whatnot.

Maryland DID vote Tuesday for legalization of recreational marijuana use for 21 and older as did Missouri.

HOWEVER, North Dakota, South Dakota and Arkansas voted against it.

There’s a guy down the street that still has a big ole trump sign on his roof, held down by cinder blocks.

75:25 blue:red here in Medford. Not quite as solid as Cambridge and Somerville with their 90:10 ratios but still I don’t have to deal with any Trump cult garbage on display. One house that had an ugly hand painted Trump sign out finally took it down after 2020.

my town was like 54:45 Deihl:Healy. It’s little sad being one of the top states for education and all. Out here, feels is priority. Many of the people haven’t really ventured outside this small town / small mindset
