multview - ati aiw 9700pro w/ a non ati tuner possible?

is it possible to run multview with a non ati tuner? Has anyone tried it yet? I about to get a tuner for my aiw 9700 pro but want to get something cheapper then ati tuner.

I've tried it for kicks with the analog tuner on my HDTV card and it no workie. TV Wonder is the only officially supported card for multi-view...and my guess is that its the only supported card period as I've never seen where any other tuner would work.

my bad... I misinterpreted the original post... sounds to me like something the boys in those rage3d forums would know about though.
