Could taking multivitamin supplements cause massive gas?

The last 2 days I've had really bad gas and I don't know what would have caused it. The only thing different I've done is started taking Centrum multivitamin supplements.

I don't remember eating anything that would have caused gas this bad. I bought some Mylanta Gas pills this morning and they don't seem to have worked much.

I would be scared to take a vitamin that has that much of each in it. Do you really take 3 at a time like the bottle says?

I guess no one believes in getting the vitamins they need from eating the right variety of foods?

well since anything can give you gas, i'm going to say yes.

also some brands may give you gas and some may not, which is why people are probably discussing brands, just like some fish oil pills will give fish burp and some won't.

Highly unlikely. Its probably some other dietary change you've made recently. Started eating more vegetables? whole grains? Anything with soluble fiber?
