Multithreaded Stress Tests?

Well to check for stability on my X2 I ran dual Prime95's when I OC'd it. Both ran for about 12 hours without any errors, so that's great. My problem is that P95 is a single-threaded app, so I'm really just running two single-threaded applications. This may be different than in an environment where the applications is multithreaded, and that might lead to a system failure for me.

Are there any stress tests that ARE multithreaded?

If both of your cores are stable running at the same time, you will have no problem with SMP enabled applications.

Oh, that makes sense. You dont have many cache-to-cache transfers within the System Request Interface when running two independent applications. I'd recommend doing something like setting a huge render queue for a multithreaded raytracer or something of the sort.

Hm...sounds like it'll work. Is 3dStudioMAX SMP-aware? I'm pretty sure it is.
