MultiProcessor issues with NDDH-DL MOBO

I have just put together a new system with dual Nocona 3.06 Ghz 800Mhz FSB processors, 4 GB Dual Channel DDR Ram, XT800 256 MB AGP, 160 GB SATA

Let me finish, Sorry!!

When I boot the system it states my processors do not match and it will go to uni-processor mode. I call ASUS and they were a "BIG HELP", and told me that I had to buy paired processors.

I have looked high and low, but there is not any "paired" processors in this format.

If this MOBO does support the Nocona processor, why does the lowest core voltage in the BIOS 1.5V, where the processor are 1.4V?

Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Think what Asus meant was matched pairs. Usually that's matching the ID and batch numbers. It's not advertized as such, but if you make a request dealers could match yours up. It's how it was done with my slot-1 P3 1ghz processors for a dual board.

Just ask them to match them for a dually setup. IIRC, Zipzoomfly (then Googlegear) did it for the P3s.
