I have decided to but an Epox 8RDA+. Thanks for all the assistance.

I have an XP 2600+ 266fsb. I run this processor at 2400mhz (150X16) at 1.65v with great stability. WIth the 8RDA+ can I run this same CPU at 166X14.5 (2416mhz) without having to surgically alter my CPU. Is it posible to adjust the multipliers in the BIOS. Is there ANOTHER way to modify the CPU. I have the DDR needed to run 166, and I really, really doubt that the CPU will do 166X16 (2666mhz). I would like to avoid having to screw around with the CPU, because if I burn it my wife will downgrade me back to my old 1600+ :-( atleast until X-Mas.

just about every nforce 2 board and even some of the newer via boards can adjust the multiplier without touching the cpu.
