hello, i just want to know if how does u know the multiplier or threads of a CPU without installing such software or actually buying the processor itself..

Multiplier is clockspeed/100 for SNB and newer and AMD's APUs, and clockspeed/200 for AMD's FX.
Celeron/Pentium=2T; i3/i5=4T i7=8T; 1st digit in FX model # will tell how many threads; Athlon x2/x4 is obvious; A4/A6 is 2T and A8/A10 is 4T for APUs.
