I'm running an Athlon Tbird 1.2Ghz on a MSI K7T Turbo mobo and I was just wondering how I can lower the multiplier from 12 down to 11 or 10 maybe. In the bios it lets me put it up to 14 or 15 but I can't get lower than the default, 12. The chip isn't locked is it? :(

You may have the MSI mobo that doesn't allow lower multis, but I don't recall which model(s) that was.

What you want is the Betabios located on MSI's site

Here's a link

Msi Bios department

Look for the Ver 1.0Beta16 ( this gives you lower multipliers )
Used it myself til yesterday when upgrading the bios to support the XP processor
