Multiple wireless gamepads

I was just wondering if it's possible to use 2 wireless gamepads (same make/model) on the same machine. Do they interfere with each other? Do the base stations get confused?

Also, as a bonus question, does anyone have any experience with the wireless Logitech Rumblepad 2 on a Linux machine? My Saitek P2500 just conked out on me and I'm trying to get my MythTV set up for emulation gaming.
