I had the impression I can have multiple users for openvpn, but I go to create a new one using build-key but it wants to rebuild my whole ca, which would involve wiping any user that is there as the ca would be different. Any way around this or do I have to pay money or something to support multiple users?

Please edit the vars script to reflect your configuration,
then source it with "source ./vars".
Next, to start with a fresh PKI configuration and to delete any
previous certificates and keys, run "./clean-all".
Finally, you can run this tool (pkitool) to build certificates/keys.
