Multiple Thunderbird users on 1 IMAP account

In a work environment we are using 1 IMAP box as a shared box for 10 users. All users are running the Thunderbird client. They all should be able to mark messages as read (which they can) but I want them to have to right click on the message and Mark->As Read before the message shows up as read.

This way, everyone can read all messages but only acknowlege or mark as read the ones they deal with.


Is this possible?
