Multiple SSID: Usually an AP will have only one SSID and but with this feature it can have more than one

I have seen the Multiple SSID feature only on Cisco Aironet Series (350)
In Cisco we can use this feature only if we are enabling VLAN .Each SSID associcated with a dedicated VLAN

Do any other Vendors like D-Link,Nergear or other SOHO Ap/Router manufacture provide this feature

I read some where that Atheros (wlan chipset used in most SOHO AP) is planning to bring out this feature only next year??

The other side (the switch you connect to the AP) also has to support VLANs ... there is only one Ethernet port and multiple broadcast domains so your switch must also support (usually) 802.1q trunks and VLANs.

All of the APs, from the 350 and up support VLANs only if running IOS.
