Multiple sound cards?

I currently have a game theatre XP which replaced my old Sound Blaster Live! Value card. I bought the new Logitech z560's, and I have my old Cambridge SoudWorks FPS1000. Both are 4.1, and I hooked the z560's to my GTXP. Can I put my SB in at the same time, and hook up my old speakers to it to get 8.2 sound (only 4 channels, but still)?

Any ideas/comments/etc. would be appreciated!

i do not think it is possible to do it..i have a on board sound card and for head phones it sucks...i bought a sound card and now i had to set the os to use the non onboard sound card.

I was thinking about this too. I want one soundcard to be out to my home theater and one to my normal pc speakers.

You can have more than 1 sound card in a computer. What you can or can
not do with that configuration, I don't know.

You could set up seperate hardware profiles to use either one (you decide at bootup), but I do not THINK you can use both cards at once. I could be wrong, though.
