Multiple Promise Ultra100/133TX2 possible?

Has anyone tried to use an Ultra100TX2 and Ultra133TX2 adapter together? I have one of each but could not successfully POST once I connect a drive to the second PCI adapter. Isn't this supposed to be possible (or am I being moronic)? I tried the tips at the Promise website about changing IRQs on the slots or changing the slot positions but I have not luck yet. Any tips would be appreciated.

P4B266C (BIOS 1003 -- 48-bit LBA support) - channel 0 IBM 45GB GXP75, channel 1 Sony 8x CDWriter (IRQ 11/15)
Ultra100TX2 (BIOS 2.20.11) - channel 0 WD1000BB, channel 1 WD1000BB (Slot 2 - IRQ 9)
Ultra100TX2 (BIOS 2.20.??) - channel 4G160JB (Slot 4 - IRQ 9/15 fails, tried 11, 14, etc. -- won't post)

now (working):

I don't think 2 promise ata pci cards will work simultanously in the same pc!

Hmmm ... that would be too bad. I wonder if I attach a Highpoint PCI RAID controller which shows up as a SCSI card will work in tandem with the Promise? Only one way to find out! :Q
