Multiple PCI-E Graphics cards (non SLI)

Hi,

Is it possible to put 2 PCI-E cards (not identical) into an SLI board simply to have multiple video cards in Windows? This will allow me to connect to multiple monitors.

Thanks,
Delta

The answer is no, you have to have 2 identical cards for SLI to work. And if you have two SLI cards, you can only hook up your monitor to one of them. So either way, it won't help you.
