I'm running Win2k/WinXP dual boot. Here's my question: is it possible to make a pair of drives (whether partitions or logical drives within partitions) "read only" depending on the operating system in use?
Here's my drive setup:
Win2k OS (primary DOS partition)
Win2k Files (logical drive in extended DOS partition)
WinXP OS (logical drive in extended DOS partition)
WinXP Files (logical drive in extended DOS partition)
To clarify, here's what I mean: when I'm running Win2k, I want WinXP OS and Files drives to be read only (so I can copy files from there but not change any data on those drives). And when I'm running WinXP, same thing with the Win2k drives. Is this possible? Do I need some sort or program or can it be done?
