Multiple-partition HD on HPT Raid Controller

I really have no intent to create a raid array on my Abit KR7AR mobo. My intent was/is to install HD, CD and CD/RW devices as masters on separate IDE connectors - using IDE3 on highpoint raid controller to control the HD.

Operating System is Win98SE.

Setting this up was quite easy by assigning the HD as ATA133 Raid boot device in BIOS boot sequence setup, enabling the Raid Controller in BIOS and plugging the HD into the IDE3 controller. Booted fine with all devices apparently properly registered.

The problems I encountered:
1. The HD has four partitions - only C:\ and D:\ partitions were recognized.
2. Norton Disk Doctor popped up advising me that partition data was corrupted and offered to fix the problem.
3. Norton DD fixed the problem by making only C:\ and D:\ visible to the system.
4. System operation then was 100% operational at this point - but with E:\ and F:\ partitions innaccessible.

At that point I reverted all BIOS and physical settings and connections to original state, rebooted and fixed the inaccessable partitions by running Norton DOS Rescue Disk. System is now 100% operational at original condition.

For you RAID experts:
Is there a way to make my four-partition HD bootable as non-raid device under the HPT Raid Controller with all four partions accessible?

Thanks for your help!
