Multiple mouse configs? Is it possible?

I have a cordless optical mouse and a trackball, both USB, the mouse moves a lot quicker than the trackball and I want both to be fast. If I change speeds in the mouse control panel, the trackball will move faster but the mouse will move even faster. So my question is: is there a way to run multiple mouse configurations in WinXP pro with different speed settings? Or is there a setting I can change in the Registry to make trackball movement faster?
