Multiple monitors with different brands of video card?

I have a P3 1ghz system at work currently using a GF2 video card in it running W2K Pro.
I want to add a cheap PCI video card to the system to be able to run 2 monitors. I don't need anything special (8-16mb generic video card).

However, will I run into problems using a Nvidia card and a generic video card, each with their own drivers? I don't think this will be a problem, as W2K will accept the drivers for each card, but want to make sure before I take the plunge.

Assuming that whatever card you get doesnt have any issues with 2k to begin with you will be fine. You are correct in thinking that you don't need to use similiar cards to run two in 2k.

That's what I was expecting...thanks!

No Worries!

Out of curiosity, anyone have two video cards of different brand/chipset where each card already has multiple monitor output? If so, do you use any multiple monitor management tools like nView or hydravision? Does everything play happy together?
