Right now I have 2 broadband connections, Cable and ADSL.
What I want to do is connect both of these services to 1 computer. Now if I was to add another NIC card to the PC and turn it on shouldn't it get the IP for the 2nd ISP? And my network would be setup as follows.

Cable Internet ----> Modem -----> Router -----> Switch 1-----> NIC Card 1 ------> PC

ADsL Internet -----> ADSL Router -----> Switch 2 ----->NIC Card 2 ------->PC

Note the PC is the same the cables are just going into seperate NIC cards.

Now if that is correct is there a way that I can make Windows use a specific IP to connect to the net, that way I can switch between ISPs? Please Help I will have 2 ISP for about 2 months and can't get my ADSL email on another ISP because they block access. But my main concern is If I can't switch between ISPs and I do a website request on IE will it be confused because it can find that websites IP on both NIC cards? Follow me? Put it short I want each connection separate but on the same PC.

HELP

I had a set up like that a while back and if I recall correctly I was doing it "no-frills". I would disable/enable the nics as needed. and if email is your only concern you could do the web-based email route: i.e. mail2web to get your POP from the other ISP. Your DNS and gateways should be she up in the TCP IP properties and as long as you're not going through a Proxy, IE is configured by default to auto detect your connection to the outside (through the gateway).
