Multiple Installs from 1 Win 7 DVD or Image?

I have 2 Win 7 64 Home Premium OEM (DVD) pkgs without SP1 & 1 with SP1. Can I install & activate 3 instances of Win 7 (on 3 different PCs) from the Win 7 SP1 DVD (or perhaps from an image of it written to a thumb drive) as long as I use the 3 different product keys - 1 for each install??

As long as you have proper license keys the disc is irrelevant. Worst case you might not be able to do auto activation, but in any case I think you you should be fine. I don't believe you can mix OEM and Retail media/keys though.

I believe with Win7 (or maybe with Vista) they did away with separate install media for the different versions, and it's all one installer now. As soon as you put in a certain product key, then Windows can change into whatever version the product key is for. I might have this wrong, but I'm pretty sure the only restriction on media/key nowadays involves volume licensing. You have to have the volume license installer in order to use a volume license product key.
