Multiple hops on one 'net router?

I noticed I can't access quite a few websites. sonystyle.com is one example. What sparks my curiosity is that one router (144.232.20.17) consumes half of the hops. It's like an infinite loop.

OK, it's fine now (just waited a bit). They were probably just updating the routers somehow and had a temp outage.
