I need to setup a few ftp sites because i need to access files from three different folders on a server. If i setup an ftp site using the default port, it works fine. If i use a different port number, say 9000, the server's local browser can pull up the ftp site, but any remote browser will pit an error.
500 Port command Error
500 LPRT, "bla bla bla" command not understood.
Any guidance?? I am also going to run an ftp login encrypter as well. I have zone alarm on tite, and along with the login encrypter, do i have a decent amount of security? I know not perfect, but decent?
