multiple cable modems at one residence?

Hey,

I have been using multiple cable modems at my home {roadrunner} with no problem and now all the sudden I am having problems. Any Ideas!

Could you be a tad more specific?
Please. 🙂

I can't even guess what is wrong until you document at least what the symptoms are, how it is connected, and what network gear is in use.

If it were Scott's network, I would advise him to restart LANE services and reset his ATM NIC's.

Why would you want two cable modems? They are sharing exactly the same Internet bandwidth - All you're really getting is a second bill for no more performance. The only thing you'd get would be another 128Kb/s of outbound speed. If that's your goal, then it makes sense.
