I've noticed that with different video cards, you will get a different multimonitor situation. For example the ATI Radeon cards like 9800pro, 9600XT cards will create an independent monitor when you have mulitmonitor situations where you desktop wall paper will just simply be repeated on the second monitor. An there are other cards like the radeon VE which will actually "stretch" your desktop in multimonitor situations so your screen resolution is much higher. And I was wondering how I could go about making a Radeon 9800Pro card with the multimonitor feature make it so that it "stretches" the image across the two desktops instead of making independent desktops. I'm wondering if what I want to accomplish is not possible or not.
Cliff notes:
Have a Radeon 9800PRO card, want's to do multimonitor situation
in multimonitor situation, wants screen to be stretched instead of being independent screens, so widescreen images will work.
