Multimonitor lag

Hi,

I have 2 X Radeon 9250 g/cards running 3 monitors.

Windows 2000 and 2400 Athlon with 512MB.

When I view and scroll web pages the page jitters, and when windows are moved it may take a whole second for the window to re-draw in the new position.

Is this normal.

Can anything be done about it.

Thanks.

It sounds as if there is no hardware acceleration for the displays which could be a driver or setting problem.

Normal multi monitor should be just a smooth as single monitor running.

Glad to hear you got your's sorted out. I couldn't get mine to work so I just disconnected the second monitor. Just curious, what are your system specs?

P3 700, 256MB Win 2000 Pro
Amd 2400, 512MB Win 2000 Pro

The radeon cards run fine in both systems.

So I actually have 3 video cards with 4 montors in the P3 system without problems. And could connect 5 monitors if I had another.

Ive got the multimonitor bug now, trying to find space on my desk for another monitor...
