EDIT: i fixed this with a plugin for winamp, didn't have to do that before so it still kinda bugs me but whatever it works now.

alright so this issue is bugging me. I recently did a reinstall of win 7, got everything set back up fine but my keyboard does not seem to interact with winamp the way it used to

it has the standard multimedia keys (play/pause, volume, mute skip and stop) these used to function with winamp without me having to do anything, however after the reinstall i had to go into winamps settings and enable "global hotkeys"

this normally would not be an issue as everything works that way EXCEPT the volume

back before i reinstalled the volume keys would ONLY adjust the main system volume, letting me set winamp and whatever i wanted on the slider, and that in addition would control winamps volume, so i could have system volume all the way up but winamp set to 50%, for some reason i cant for the life of me figure out how to make that work again

anyone have any ideas? latest version of winamp, win 7 64, generic iHome keyboard ( it has no drivers AFAIK)
