I have an hp one-touch internet keyboard, which I want to get working in linux. Mostly all I want to get workong is the volume control nob on it. I am used to using it to control the speakers, since they have no physical volume control of their own. Is there a way to get that working so I can control the sound mixer master voulume with the nob. ANd utilizing some of the other buttoins wouldn't hurt. I google it earlier but couldn't find anything clear on the issue. Any help would be apppreciated.

I did a google search for keyboard special keys in the linux section and came up with this

One thing you may want to look at (in general, not for this question is Google's special linux search It's the same great search, but all things have real linux importance.

I may have to try that on my inspiron now... I never knew it was that easy...

Thank you soo much, I did in fact know and use google.com/linux for my search but it didn't come up with that, I guess Iw as too specific. I will try that and maybe more to get it to work.
