Multimedia Issue

I don't know how much of an actual problem it really is, but I have been messing around with my sound settings with Audigy 2 control panels, you know...trying to get best sound for my living room. I have Klipsch Promedia Ultra 5.1 speakers, so the sound is great in games. Well, music is where I am having my problem. I have noticed that all my MP-3's sound really loud and pronounced (for the lack of a better term), but when I play audio CD's in my CD/DVD drive, the sound is so much quieter. I have to really crank the speakers up to make them as loud as my MP-3's. I have set the CD-ROM drives to digital playback instead of analog (sounds better). I have my Master Volume set to 75% and Wave at 75% in control panel. The CD sound slider bar is disabled because I have drives set to digital playback. I did try setting them to analog, and I was able to move slider bar all the way up, and they were a little louder, but not by much, and music did not sound nearly as good. It seems that anything that plays off of the hard drive sounds so much louder than playing off of CD. I am sure it has something to do with the Audigy 2 and the EAX software. I have tried a ton of different sound settings and soundfields, but no luck yet.
