multihomed win2k server question

i'm running win2k adv. server trial version and wanted to get some basic hands on experience setting the server up as a router. so i installed a 2nd nic and gave it a different ip address than the first one. however, when i close tcp/ip properties i get a windows error saying that there is a duplicate computer name. this error doesn't prevent me from doing anything, but when i look in my dns zones my server is listed twice with two different ip addresses. this sorta seems logical to me since, in fact, my server does have 2 ip addresses (1 for each interface). but that error is bugging me and i can't find any info anywhere. so i guess my question is, is it ok for my server to be listed repeatedly in a zone file for each ip assigned to it? or is there some way to assign the different ip addresses to one computer in the zone file?

I know you can create multiple IP addresses for a single host. (eg: nslookup microsoft.com)
