Multicore turbo on locked CPUs (8700) ?

Hello,
I have both the 8700 and the 8700K coming to me next week and i am trying decide which one to keep. I don't plan on overclocking more than the maximum out-box frequency, but one think i would like is the multicore turbo thing.
Does it work on locked CPUs too ? can the all 6 cores of a 8700 be clock at 4.6Ghz using bios settings ?

No, MCE only works on the unlocked parts. 8700 tops out at 4.3 with all cores under load.
