I've been having problems getting MC audio to work on my SB DE 5.1 in analog mode.
my speaker system is DTT2200.
under win 98SE, I couldn't get it to work at all using MC
under win 2K, I could only get s/pdif to work when playing a DVD.
(meaning hardware decoding of ac3, not digital output to an external amplifier).
My goal is to listen to music using the Prologic II option on and get simulated 5.1 ch audio out of stereo signal.
therefor, s/pdif is not the answer.
any help is welcome.
