Multi video card system question + 2U server case question

RU482

Lifer
If I build a system based around a P67 motherboard (with 3 x16 PCIe slots), can I run 3 discrete video cards to drive three separate displays? (or, with 3 video cards, does it only work as a crossfire/SLI?) Assume all need HDMI video and audio.

If a video card comes with a low profile bracket, would these brackets be the correct size (vertically) for a 2U server chassis?

thanks

I believe 2U is the same as desktop SFF, so yes low profile cards will fix correctly....you can use 3 separate cards to run 3 output however its not required...if only for 2d, most new cards can run 2 screens and you could use a USB adapter for 3rd....Not sure if any manufacturer does low profile that drives 3 output although AMD has normal height cards that do!
