Multi mouse manager

One of my pc's uses a keyboard with a trackball on it and is not very conducive to gaming. Was wondering if anyone knows of a good, free mouse manager that can switch btwn mice when launching say UT 2004...

i tried just plugging a second mouse in but UT 2004 doesnt respond to it.

it doesnt? my roommate uses two mice (mx518, mx revolution), and i consistantly go into into his room and mess up his day of defeat source by controlling the 2nd mouse. Makes for some fun mousewars 😀.

No extra programs, windows just recognizes both mice, and uses em both at the same time.

yup, you can have multiple mice in windows. i have a mx700+1000 because i can use either hand.
once you connect the mouse and install the software it should have the same cursor be controlled by both mice in windows. thats when you know it works. maybe uninstall the trackball and install the mouse first..then try to install the trackball. i know i install mouseware first for my mx700 before setpoint for the 1000 to keep things from being a bit jumbled. but thats just for fancier key assignments. otherwise it works for basic movement using windows drivers.
