Hey, I've got a project... "my" traders at work, they currently use 8-monitor setups, and i use 2x nvidia NVS PCI cards to get them to 8 monitors on each PC....but since they figured, they still need more acreage...and asked me to replace one of the 15 inch with 23in sony :)))....even OCed by 25% nvidias start to show "some" shortcomings in refresh efficiency departament...so....i was thinking... i need a mothereboard that has 2x PCI-x slots and a pci-x cards that support 4 displays, and then ability to put it together...
have you guys heard of any products that would do the trick? (i've checked matrox, they have 3-display pci-x cards....not enough...)

thanks!

You don't need an SLI motherboard to do that. I suggest the DFI Ultra D which has two PCI-E graphics slots, but won't officially run SLI mode. At $137.00 it's quite a bit cheaper than the ASUS and will serve your purposes perfectly.

Matrox QID Pro256 does quad display on PCI-x. So does the Appian Phoenix QD (pci card)
