I have three 20WMGX2's, one I have gave to my dad already so for the purpose of this thread I have only two.
I've already tried triple monitor gaming with my 8800GT + 7900GS using SoftTH and that was fun.
What now I want to be able to do (or see if its possible) is to run my main monitor with simply an auxilary side monitor.
So the key is:
OPTION 1 (BLUE):
1680x1050 main monitor CENTER of the game/display
1050x1680 secondary monitor rotated 90 degrees, situated either on the left or right of my current monitor
Is it possible to have a game that can span across those, such that the secondary monitor is simply "bonus" viewing area?
OPTION 2 (RED):
Alternatively if its possible to somehow run it "wide" across both monitors while one is more centered than the other, for example:
1680x1050 main monitor, 1050x1050 side monitor and run it as (1680+1050) x 1050 so that the game is centered at a different point
OPTION 3:
Variant of both, combined but with the offset center as in the 2 case, along with the bonus viewing area of 1 case.

When I get home I will use photoshop to make a game screenshot to illustrate the idea
