The thing is fairly smart too, I tried to call it from asm, it wouldn't allow that either 🙁.

it does allow assembly however, It used gcc syntax, so my guess is that this is being run on a linux system, and the gcc is the primary compiler

If you click on the about page, the author mentions how he's got the site setup.

It seems that he has it in a virtual environment.
