School policy required that a TA go with people to the can during test/exams in case you hid something in the toilet or something.

This reminds me of back in 3rd grade when the teacher wouldn't let me go to the bathroom. So I just sat there and literally pissed my pants while staring at her.

We have 3-5 hour tests every other week or so. Bathroom breaks are completely acceptable. You need to bring something up to your school. I would never last in your school, as I caffeine load for hours before, especially when cramming.

Get hydrated when you wake up, and don't drink anything for at least an hour before the exam. Use the bathroom as close to exam start time as possible.
