Multi-function panels...

I just purchased an Enermax multi-function panel (one of those cool devices that you mount in a 5 1/4" bay and it can monitor temps, adjust fan speeds, give you external plugs for all kinds of stuff, etc.) and you're supposed to connect these two temperature diodes to somewhere in the case for monitoring the CPU and internal case temp but I have no idea as to where.

Does anyone have any ideas?

the cpu one should contact the CPU, the case one should be located in what you might think is a hotter spot inside the case - or just keep moving it around inside the case until you find a hot spot...

The only way I can think to do that would be to put it on top of the core between the processor and the heatsink and I understand that can drastically cause issues with the dissapation of heat. Unless there is another way to monitor the core temperature besides placing there?
