multi-colored eyes

I recently read in a magazine article that a person having a multi-colored eye is 1 in 8 million.. it was refering to the girl from blue crush

i have one eye that's half brown and half blue, and my other eye is pure blue. anyone else on this board have or know of a person that naturally has a half-half colored eye?

Do you mean half as in, the inner part closest to the pupil is one color and the outter edge is another color?

Yup, that's almost exactly what my eye looks like, except mine is just a little more blue than brown.. 🙂

My left eys is bright green (sometimes, sometimes it fades to a blue shade) and my right eye is always bright blue.

My 5 year old girl has green eyes with a brown section on the left eye.
But it's different than the pics that were posted.
It's more like a wedge shape, like if you divided the left eye up like pieces of pie, it would have one brown piece.

I met someone once who had one brown and one blue eye. It was very disconcerting..

My eyes are blue, but with a ring of brown around each pupil.

Anyone seen an iridologist? I'm still skeptical (of iridology) but when my friend dragged me to one he was quite accurate about my medical history :Q

that's really interesting. the half and half thing would be either pretty cool or very different, depending on your point of view. so if two peeps with half and half eyes, would their kid's pupil look like a bmw logo? now that would be cool to see esp if you get the blue and the white on there 😛 just a curious thought..

I think phreakah's numbers are a little off. According to The Straight Dope, heterochromia (the scientific name for this condition) appears in about 1% of the population. So it's closer to 1 out of 100 than 1 out of 8 million.

A friend of mine has one blue eye and one eye that's blue in the middle and brown towards the edges.

Same here.

Mine is largely related to sleep. If I get a full nights sleep my eyes are a very, very deep green. If I have very limited sleep they are almost a turquoise color.
