Okay,

I bought my first USB Flash Drive and I will never go back to floppies. Booting from USB for Norton Ghost rocks!!! It's much faster than floppies. Well let's see - next thing I'd like to have is a boot drive for Winternals ERD... I guess I'd like a Windows 98 Boot Disk as well just in case... That would probably cover most of my needs for now...

Now, instead of carrying around 3 USB Flash Drives - Can I set up three partitions on one and have a boot menu??? That would be nice... Unfortunately Boot Magic doesn't recognize the USB Flash Drive as a hard disk - but Norton Ghost does.

Hmmm, what if I partition a small boot drive, use Boot Magic on it, and then ghost it to the USB Flash Drive. I'll give this a shot. I also noticed that in the USB Flash Drive tech specs that some of them support multi-boot - I wonder if my cruzer does?

Can't you try multibooting through the config.sys just like the olden days? You just have multipe configurations within the autoexec and config files.

That's fine unless you need to boot different operating systems. I will try to ghost a hard drive to a USB flash drive when I have some time this week. I will post the results.
