Does anyone know if there is such thing as a drive-bay cooler that occupies multiple drive bays? I have three consecutive unoccupied 5.25-inch drive bays, and I'd like to find a way to install a HDD-cooler-type device that takes up two slots, and possibly all three.
One reason for this is that "regular" style front-mounted HDD coolers are too noisy (and high-pitched) for the CFM's they generate. I'd like something like a squirrel-cage blower, or 60-80mm fan instead, blowing at slower RPM.
Of course, custom-creating a solution wouldn't be out of the question... it might be as simple as mounting an 80mm fan that spans the three plastic brackets, but I'm not quite sure how I would go about doing that.
Any suggestions?
