Omar is the leader of the Taliban purist movement and is currently trying to appeal to the American people to stop any invasion of Afghanistan. Listen to some of his comments:

"You accept everything your government says, whether it is true or false."

"Don't you have your own thinking? Can Osama bin Laden carry out such an act in America? So it will be better for you to use your sense and understanding."

His religuous movement spews and cultivates lies about the West to his followers and he has the audacity to tell American people that we are all sheep?! Incredulous!

we do assume everything the media and gov says is true....remember gulf war, and the "smart missiles" we only used like a few of those and the rest we just carpet bombeed...and we didnt know this until long after the war.

Yes, that's true, but that's also out of the context of the current situation. Are we to believe the WTC disaster is really a cover-up for something else and bin Laden is simply the scapegoat?

You know, even if bin Laden is "innocent", he's been on our hit list for years, so there's no "oops, wrong guy" after the fact.
